Our progressive Information Technology team are looking for an Integration Specialist who wants to do more than keep systems running, someone who wants to design the platform that connects everything.
In this role, you will own how critical systems communicate across Council. You’ll architect scalable, secure integrations, shape standards, and help modernise our technology ecosystem so we can deliver smarter services to a rapidly growing community.

Your key focus areas are:
Act as the technical lead for enterprise integration, partnering with product owners, business stakeholders, vendors, and engineers to design solutions that are robust, secure, and future-ready.Architect, build, and maintain enterprise integration solutions across multiple platformsDesign API-led integrations and automated workflowsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutionsEstablish integration standards, governance, and best practicesMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimise integration performance and reliabilityEnsure data integrity, security, and scalability across systemsProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and subject-matter expertise

You’re a technically strong integration professional who enjoys connecting complex systems and seeing your solutions deliver real-world outcomes.
You combine deep hands-on experience with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide technical direction.
You likely have experience in environments where reliability, security, and scalability matter, and you’re motivated by building solutions that stand the test of time.
Specifically, you will bring:
Degree-level qualifications in Computer Science or a related field and/or demonstrated experience delivering real integration solutions.Enterprise integration platforms or middlewareMicrosoft Azure Integration Services (highly regarded)Boomi, Power Platform (Power Automate/RPA), or similar toolsAPI design and management (REST, SOAP)Data formats such as JSON and XMLStrong SQL capability (Microsoft SQL preferred)Experience delivering complex multi-system integrationsUnderstanding of security, scalability, and performance considerations
