About the Opportunity:
This is not a traditional Executive Chef role – it's a career‐defining opportunity to lead one of the most dynamic culinary operations in the portfolio. You'll take the reins of a high‐profile, large‐scale venue set against an internationally renowned motorsport track, delivering everything from fast‐paced race‐day menus and corporate hospitality to refined private dining and elevated all‐day dining experiences. With seven conference suites overlooking the skyline and track, multiple outlets and major event days, no two weeks will look the same. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead food operations across conference & events, all‐day dining, café, bar and race‐day service
* Deliver food across the full spectrum – from high‐volume, fast service menus to intimate fine dining
* Pre‐stage and execute major motorsport events, corporate hospitality and elite dining experiences
* Oversee seven conference suites and a private dining room with track and skyline views
* Manage and develop a kitchen team of around eight, leading from the front during service
* Own daily kitchen operations, service readiness and food quality standards
* Approve all food leaving the kitchen, ensuring consistency, pace and presentation
* Control food and labour costs while maintaining quality and profitability
* Maintain strong food safety, hygiene and OH&S standards at all times
What You'll Bring:
* Experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef from a large hotel or complex, high‐volume venue
* Confidence working at scale, particularly in event‐led and fast‐paced environments
* Ability to move seamlessly between high‐volume service and refined, intimate dining
* Proven leadership of kitchen teams, with a hands‐on, lead‐from‐the‐front style
* Strong commercial awareness and cost‐control capability
* Passion, energy and creativity – you enjoy high pace and big days
* Innovative mindset with the resilience to perform under pressure
* Background in large‐scale venues or major events highly regarded
