MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

About The Role
Working in a small Facilities Management team, this exciting opportunity involves managing the daily operations of building systems, maintaining the building and providing maintenance support. Working in the venue and event industry means supporting the delivery of events across our event calendar. This means that weekend, evening and public holiday work will be required.
You Will
* Carry out hands on general maintenance and provide maintenance assistance during events
* Support the management of emergency services and evacuation procedures for the Centre
* Respond to maintenance requests and carry out internal and external maintenance inspections of the Centre
* Manage the daily operations of the building including Building Management System and Fire Panel
* Follow scheduled preventative maintenance programs and actively participate in maintenance planning and facility improvements
* Assist in the management of service contractors to ensure safety of their work
* Manage tools, parts and materials inventory
About You
* Have previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally in a large commercial venue
* Be knowledgeable in building and workplace health and safety compliance
* The ability to manage the Building Management Systems software
* Enjoy working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
* Construction Industry White Card
* Forklift Licence (desirable)
* EWP Ticket (desirable)
* Have a trade qualification (highly desirable)
* Chief Fire Warden qualification (desirable)
