About the role
Rydges Bankstown is a 120 room 4 star hotel fronting the Hume Highway in Bass Hill. This modern hotel is a 14-minute walk from Dunc Gray Velodrome, 2.9 km from Bankstown Airport and 9 km from Warwick Farm Racecourse.
Featuring a restaurant, bar, outdoor pool and conference facilities Rydges Bankstown is looking for a fun and enthusiastic Guest Services Agent to join our dynamic and successful front office team
As a Guest Service Agent you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a busy front desk.
You will possess the following skills:
* Minimum one year of hotel front office experience
* Experience with Opera, or similar hotel PMS
* The flexibility to work a rotating roster of AM, PM and Overnight shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays
* A willingness to go above and beyond for all of our guests
* The ability to work in a strong team environment
* The ability to show initiative
* A friendly and outgoing personality
* The ability to work well in a high pressure environment
