Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of a large-scale wind farm. This includes overseeing a team of technicians and contractors to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

They will also monitor turbine performance metrics and work to maximize uptime and energy production. Additionally, they will coordinate with remote operations centers and respond to alarms and faults in a timely manner.

Operational Leadership

* Manage daily operations, including planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections.
* Monitor turbine performance and work to optimize efficiency.

Team Management
\
* Supervise and support a team of technicians and contractors.
* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Safety and Compliance
\
* Enforce adherence to company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Lead safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations.
* Ensure compliance with site safety rules and protocols.

Stakeholder Coordination
\
* Act as primary point of contact for landowners, local authorities, vendors, and customers.
* Coordinate with engineering, asset management, and project teams.

Administrative and Financial Management
\
* Manage site budgets, procurement, and inventory of parts and tools.
* Prepare regular performance reports.
* Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and safety records.

Requirements and Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
* Minimum 3 years experience in customer service management.
* Background in mechanical or electrical projects preferred.
* Experience in overall wind farm operations and maintenance preferred.
