Overview
Senior Network Operations Team Lead role at NTT DATA, Inc. is a leadership position within the Network Operations Centre (NOC) supporting a key Federal Government project. The role collaborates with the client to provide managed services for critical networking and monitoring systems, ensuring security, reliability and compliance while supporting the client’s mission.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor ticket queues and ensure tickets are regularly updated and escalated appropriately.
- Work independently under general direction from the client, stakeholders, or senior manager to resolve escalated incidents and requests within agreed SLAs.
- Provide support for escalated incidents and ensure timely escalation to management with ongoing updates.
- Act as emergency support contact for critical client and business-impacting issues.
- Drive service delivery to clients from the NOC Operations Centre, ensuring alignment with defined Service Management Service Operations (SMSO) processes.
- Engage with clients and collaborate with internal teams for technical operations as part of routine service delivery.
- Measure and analyse the team’s delivery capabilities to support, maintain, and manage the technical aspects of managed solutions.
- Implement training and development initiatives for direct reports, including goal setting, performance management, and succession planning.
- Lead recruitment activities for vacant positions within the direct team.
- Manage resources including leave, timesheets, on-call rosters, and coverage during peak periods.
- Operate within Security and Compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to enterprise governance systems and policies including WHS, Environmental, Risk, and CASA regulations.
Your Experience And Qualifications
- You must be an Australian Citizen and hold an AGSVA Baseline clearance.
- An AGSVA NV1 clearance or higher will be well regarded.
- A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience with leading a network operations support team.
- Demonstrated experience in organisational change management, including transformational initiatives that support operational maturity and team development.
- Relevant experience supporting domain towers such as Platform, Network, Collaboration/Customer Experience, Security, and Tools & Applications.
- Experience working in secure environments with a strong understanding of compliance, governance, and operational risk frameworks.

- Security: F5 ASM AFM, Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella
- Tools and Applications: LogicMonitor, Tanium, Splunk, Rapid 7, Netbox
- Automation / Scripting: Ansible, Powershell, Python
