Fire Boar is growing, and we're looking for experienced Fire Detection Technicians to join our Brisbane team.
We provide a full range of fire protection services — from installation and commissioning to maintenance and testing — all in line with Australian Legislation and Building Codes.
We're also happy to assist with interstate relocations for the right candidates.
About the Role
As a Fire Detection Technician at Fire Boar, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clients' fire safety systems are maintained and operating at the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting monthly, six-monthly, and annual testing of fire detection systems
Performing defect repairs and troubleshooting faults
Attending call-outs and participating in our on-call roster for 24/7 emergency service
Completing minor and major installations and system upgrades
Ensuring work meets relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations
Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining clear communication on-site
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
QBCC Licence (mandatory)
Current Driver Licence (mandatory)
Police Check, Blue & White Cards
Vaccination Record (QLD Health Portfolio)
Willingness to undergo a medical if required
Highly Regarded
Full Electrical Licence
Experience using Uptick and SimPRO software
