Training and Development Specialist
This role involves developing training programs to enhance patient care, improve operating environments, and ensure compliance with industry protocols.
* The successful candidate will lead the development and update of a training schedule up to 12 months in advance, working closely with MPC Management, Clinicians, Clinical Instructors, and Quality Manager to identify staff training needs or areas of risk.
* They will design and deliver tailored training programs for staff requiring specific skills and training gaps, as well as develop programs for new equipment and work methods.
* The specialist will oversee content development for the ELMO online training platform and maintain up-to-date system content, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of staff attendance and assessment of any training provided.
* Key responsibilities also include preparing documents, presentations, and reports for leadership meetings, identifying opportunities to improve business and clinical processes, promoting a customer- and patient-centric culture, and striving for staff compliance with all clinical and legislative protocols and policies.
* In addition, they will lead projects to enhance safety, quality, and effectiveness, mentor and provide training to staff, assist with interview, assessment, and orientation of new staff, and audit staff, policies, and procedure compliance with National Standards.
