Willetton Senior High School (SHS) is one of the largest schools in Western Australia, with a student population in excess of 2700, approximately 230 teaching staff and 145 support staff on campus. The Role

The Manager of Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in the effective administration and financial management of the school, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures. This position oversees key operational areas including finance, human resources, asset management, and school support services. The Manager of Corporate Services is responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets, managing procurement and contracts, coordinating payroll and leave processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. They also supervise Allied Professional staff and contribute to workforce planning, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

In addition to operational leadership, the Manager of Corporate Services supports strategic planning and decision-making by providing timely and accurate advice to the Principal. They ensure the school’s resources are aligned with educational priorities and maintain accountability for compliance with relevant legislation and departmental standards. The role demands high-level communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a strong focus on service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

Demonstrated highly developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to consult, collaborate and negotiate with a wide range of individuals at all levels. Demonstrated highly developed skills and experience in managing corporate service functions in a large and complex organisation. Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to develop solutions to complex problems. Demonstrated substantial experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of business plans. Demonstrated working knowledge of facilities management, repair and replacement. Demonstrated highly developed human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and apply human resource management practices and systems
