With our concept proven, we are focused on building a talented team to propel Hommey’s growth and community.ABOUT THE ROLEAt Hommey, we are dedicated to inspiring Gen Z & Millennials to curate their home with one brand, Hommey. During a time of accelerated growth, our marketing team is expanding and we are on the hunt for an experienced Ecommerce Specialist to join our team at our Melbourne HQ.RESPONSIBILITIESAs our Ecommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for driving and optimising the digital customer experience through strategic website merchandising, conversion rate optimisation and daily ecommerce maintenance.Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce platform including product uploads, site maintenance, content optimisations and personalisation to drive online sales growth.Conduct weekly reporting on key ecommerce performance metrics including conversion rate, traffic and landing page performance, cart abandonments and customer journeys.Develop and implement on-site content strategies in line with wider marketing calendar initiatives and brand guidelines including homepage, PDP and landing page optimisations.Develop and execute data-driven merchandising, search and filtering strategies to improve personalisation and optimise ecommerce performance metrics.Work with developers and third-party vendors to maintain integrations, troubleshoot technical issues and optimise tech stack.Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative and Merchandise Planning teams, identify and implement Shopify Plus process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Own and drive the end-to-end workflow of larger UX projects as briefed to developers.Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive organic search traffic growth.Develop an A/B testing plan to optimise content, merchandising and overall sales strategies.ABOUT YOUYou have 2+ years experience in an ecommerce marketing role.Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or similar highly regarded but not essential.Highly proficient in Shopify Plus for ecommerce front and back end management.You have basic HTML/CSS understanding.You have experience using Google Analytics (GA4) to report on key ecommerce performance metrics.You are highly proficient in understanding and applying best practice UI/UX principles.You have a proficient understanding of technical SEO principles.You are experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management to see-through the rollout of ecommerce projects.You are a complex problem solver with superior attention to detail.You take a holistic approach to ecommerce strategies, ensuring every touchpoint of the customer journey is considered and brand aesthetics maintained.You are passionate about gleaning rich insights to drive data-driven decision making and enhance overall customer experience and conversion.You are results-driven and opportunistic, always seeking new opportunities to drive ecommerce growth.WHY JOIN HOMMEY?At Hommey, we’re building more than a home and lifestyle brand — we’re creating a movement defined by comfort, quality, and personalisation.We believe in what we do.
