Assistant Accountant Mascot, Sydney | $45ph super | 3-month contract (May-July) | ASAP start The Role We are working with a fabulous company who are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support a busy finance team during a peak period. You'll be responsible for a range of transactional accounting tasks and month-end support, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing across key finance activities. Key Responsibilities Bank reconciliations (daily and monthly) Review and processing of expense claims (T&E) Assistance with month-end close activities General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations Supplier invoice review and verification Payment processing support as required Maintenance of accurate financial records and issue resolution Ad hoc support to the wider finance team About You 3 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role Strong experience in reconciliations and transactional accounting High attention to detail and accuracy Confident with Excel SAP experience desirable, not essential Able to start quickly and work in a fast-paced environment Hit the apply button to find out more!
