The ORS Group's Positive Behaviour Support division is expanding and we are seeking a clinician to join our team. You will become part of a national team of 300+ Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.
You will work with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types across early intervention, school age, adolescent, and adult services. Your role will involve developing close relationships with your clients and their families to achieve personal growth and meet goals.
Your day-to-day duties will involve collaborating with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients. This includes assessing and observing participants' challenging behaviours, working towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce restrictive practices.
Positive Behaviour Support plans focus on enhancing quality of life by improving skills and independence. You will develop individualised plans and implement them through training, regular follow-up, and review.
