Job Title: Safety Specialist
The safety specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing site health and safety, conducting thorough inspections and providing actionable feedback to personnel.
As a key member of the project team, you will contribute to developing and maintaining comprehensive safety systems, procedures, and strategies while managing risks and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compliance and Training: Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and compliance training to ensure effective implementation on-site.
* Site Health and Safety: Mentor site personnel to improve safety standards, conduct thorough inspections, and provide recommendations for enhancement.
* Project Management Support: Assist project managers in developing and maintaining safety systems, procedures, and strategies while managing risks and opportunities for safety improvements.
* Incident Investigation: Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents, advising on corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
* Safety Culture Promotion: Foster a transparent, proactive safety culture on-site and ensure compliance with current legislation, industry standards, and technological innovations.
