What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
This is a hands‑on administration role with real variety. On a typical day, you will:
* Answer and manage incoming phone calls and general enquiries
* Maintain accurate records, filing systems and documentation
* Prepare and manage documentation relating to projects, building permits, quotations and certificates
* Book mandatory inspections and manage calendars and contractor bookings
* Lodge documentation with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with required timeframes
* Provide administrative support to Residential, Commercial and Essential Safety Measures teams
* Assist with fee proposals and submissions
* Maintain office presentation, stationery supplies and shared systems
* Support the team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required
You’ll be trusted to manage your workload, prioritise effectively, and follow tasks through with care and accountability.

You will be:
* Experienced in an administration or office support role
* Proactive, with a can‑do approach to work and problem‑solving
* A quick learner, able to pick up new systems, processes, and tasks efficiently
* Strong in time management, able to meet deadlines and juggle competing priorities
* Confident with professional written and verbal communication
* Skilled in Microsoft Office at an intermediate to advanced level (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Highly organised, with the ability to adapt as priorities change
* Comfortable working independently, while also collaborating effectively within a team
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience working with project‑based documentation
* Exposure to compliance‑driven, construction, or technical environments
* Familiarity with regulatory or statutory documentation processes
