**Your New Role**
Our Aboriginal Home Health service delivers culturally appropriate in-home support services to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders to help them live independently, supported and empowered, whilst staying connected to culture within their own homes and communities.
Your new role, as Personal Care Worker - Home Care, will offer a Permanent part time contract (**40 hours per fortnight**), to provide services to our clients located at **LIVERPOOL **and surrounding areas
What does your new role look like?
- Providing support to customers with domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Assisting your customers with personal care support including, showering, toileting and feeding assistance
- Helping with transportation for your customers to appointments, shopping and for social outings
- Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with our customers and their families
- Adherence to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
- Following the customers care plan effectively to deliver the agreed services
- Reporting any issues or changes in the customer's health and wellbeing through the appropriate channels and protocols

Does this sound like you?
- 12 months experience in a 'Care' role in Aged Care and/or Cert III in Individual Support (Aged Care)
- Good verbal and written English skills
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
- A current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable, well presented, comprehensively insured vehicle
- You'll have a current First Aid Certificate. If you don't have one, we will organize this at no cost to you.
- All Australian Unity employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19, including the Booster.
