Position Description Accounting & Admin Manager

Location 30 Geelong Street Fyshwick

Hours: Full-Time

Reporting to: General Manager and Directors

CE Construction Solutions are a Canberra-based distributor of construction materials, technology and solutions. As we head into our 52nd year in business, CE Construction Solutions is experiencing considerable and dynamic growth. To support and contribute to our future success we are looking for a new team member to join us as our Accounting and Administration Manager.

Being an agile medium-sized enterprise means many of our company's positions are open to work and interaction outside of the typical confines of a standard job description, but the key objectives in this position included:

* Lead the business's accounting and admin team providing leadership and direction across the business.
* Oversee all accounting and finance functions including accounts payable, receivable, business debtors, payroll, BAS, and tax reporting to external accounts.
* Generate, and provide insight on, reports to the executive team.
* Seek and implement change by refining and improving our current company practices and policies.
* Oversee stock control in identifying accounting inconstancies, outages, and procedural improvement.
* Contribute towards setting and implementing the strategic direction of the business.
* Willingness to work with and in other areas of the business as required from time to time.
* Represent the business at appropriate industry and networking opportunities.

The successful candidate should:

* Have a degree or suitable education in accounting.
* Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
* Experience with accounting software systems such as EXO MYOB, MYOB and XERO
* Be driven by, and able to demonstrate experience, in implanting change and improvements in both processes and practices in a business.
* Be a team player motivated to step up, mentor, and educate the team around you and willing to pitch in for the bigger picture of success in the business.
* Enjoy and fun, fast-paced, open office and warehouse environment.
