Training & Development Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled Training & Development Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in driving our training strategy, enhancing our Learning Management System (LMS), and delivering impactful leadership programs contributing to workforce capability, continuous learning, and a strong safety culture.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional with 8+ years of experience in L&D in a heavy industry context. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in LMS administration management and learning systems governance, as well as relevant qualifications in HR, Learning & Development, or equivalent experience.
The role involves leading continuous improvement of the governance, structure, and functionality of the LMS, ensuring compliance, usability, and data accuracy. Additionally, you will deliver and support leadership and capability programs aligned to business needs, collaborate with internal teams and external providers to develop and deliver learning solutions aligned with strategic goals, conduct training needs analysis, and guide stakeholders on fit-for-purpose learning solutions.
You will be responsible for designing engaging learning content using digital tools and authoring software, supporting talent initiatives, and assisting to facilitate leadership programs that support high performance. You will also be the key contact for LMS support across the business.
