THE OPPORTUNITY As an Insolvency Manager, you will play a key role within the firm’s restructuring and recovery team, overseeing engagements and providing strategic insights into complex financial matters. You will work on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency assignments, analysing business performance, preparing reports for stakeholders and supporting organisations as they navigate challenging financial circumstances. Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff and maintaining high standards across client engagements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage insolvency and restructuring engagements across a range of industries Conduct financial analysis to assess company performance, risks and operational drivers Prepare detailed reports and communications for clients, stakeholders and senior management Interpret complex financial information and present findings in a clear and practical manner Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members Collaborate with senior leaders and other service lines on complex matters Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring engagements are delivered efficiently and professionally Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across processes and service delivery EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce Progress toward or completion of CA, CPA or IPA qualification Proven experience within an Australian insolvency or restructuring environment Strong understanding of insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Strong written communication skills for professional report preparation Experience using insolvency and accounting systems such as INSOL, MYOB or APS Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively in a collaborative team environment THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Flexible and hybrid working arrangements An additional annual wellbeing day to use as you choose Generous support for professional memberships, study and ongoing development Regular mentoring and career development discussions Employee and client referral incentives A workplace culture that values collaboration, recognition and team success Social and wellbeing initiatives that foster strong connections across the firm Opportunity to develop your career in a nationally recognised restructuring and recovery practice.
