We are seeking a skilled Conference & Events Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and business development skills, with the ability to plan, pitch, and close deals effectively.
About the Role
The Conference & Events Executive plays a vital role in assisting the C&E Manager in achieving departmental occupancy and yield results by implementing and monitoring practices and procedures within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Director of Sales to monitor progress toward sales goals and adjust actions as necessary.
* Participate in weekly Business on the Books meetings and provide thorough updates on all leads.
* Identify and engage potential C&E clients under the guidance of the Director of Sales, including warm calls and networking.
* Develop approaches, create proposals, participate in pricing, and handle objections to convert leads and grow business.
* Present new products and services, enhance client relationships, and participate in internal and external debriefs.
* Submit weekly progress reports, maintain accurate sales data, contribute to forecasts, and track activity on accounts.
* Liaise with the Director of Sales and other departments to ensure effective communication and approval of major quotes.
* Support administrative tasks including preparing quotes, issuing contracts, database management, filing, and maintaining records.
