Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Power Control Systems (PCS) Engineer to lead the implementation and validation of our battery storage systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of grid-forming inverters, power systems, and power electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the PCS implementation, validation tests, and troubleshooting of the battery storage system
* Collaborate with vendors and customers to determine system requirements and ensure solution meets customer expectations
* Perform in-depth evaluation of the implemented control system as per project requirements
* Develop and maintain PCS solution technical documents
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Masters degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems and Power Electronics
* Deep technical knowledge of grid-forming inverters acquired from research or field experience
* Knowledge of battery energy storage or utility scale solar grid integration
* Experience working on PSCAD, PSS/E, and other power system modeling software
* IEC 61131-3 programming proficiency, preferably Simatic S7 PLC series
* Hardware-in-the-loop testing experience
* Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as UL 1741 SA, IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, and ISO requirements
