About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team. As our next Diesel Fitter, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
* Work safely and comply with our Site Safety Health and Management System.
* Maintain, repair, and service various mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently, in line with Thiess and industry standards.
* Utilize excellent diagnostic, fault-finding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills.
* Be highly motivated and committed to delivering quality results.
* Follow work instructions and complete all paperwork to a high standard.
* Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained, ensuring a safe work environment.
* Have a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement; be able to work as an individual within the maintenance team.
* Commit to risk management and a positive safety culture.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent qualification.
* Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
* Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change-outs, and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment.
* A current driver's license.
* A commitment to a positive safety culture.
