About the Role
This is a full-time traineeship position reporting to the Sales Team. The successful candidate will receive structured training and mentorship while developing the skills required to become a successful automotive sales professional.
Over time, the role will include (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with new and pre-owned vehicle customer enquiries, including proactive prospecting and lead generation.
* Conduct follow-up communication and appointment setting with prospective customers.
* Support the delivery and handover process of sold vehicles in line with dealership guidelines and brand standards.
* Liaise with the Service Department to ensure a seamless transition from sales to aftersales support.
* Accurately maintain and update the dealership CRM system daily for all enquiries and customer interactions.
* Work collaboratively with the Finance & Insurance team to support customer solutions.
* Assist in conducting vehicle demonstrations and accompanying test drives.
* Support the preparation and completion of all sales documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Maintain vehicle presentation standards, including rearranging display vehicles as directed by the Sales Team.
* Attend and successfully complete all required in-person and online training programs.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all current product features, benefits, and competitive offerings.
* Adhere to all brand and dealership standards for Warragul Mitsubishi and Nissan.
* Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the buying journey.
There will also be opportunities to spend time in other key departments, including Finance and Service, to gain a broader understanding of the automotive industry and how each department contributes to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
