Cost Managers/Senior Cost Managers - Australia wide
Turner & Townsend are an independent professional services company specialising in programme management, project management, cost management and consulting across the property, infrastructure and natural resources sector. Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients Australia wide, we are recruiting for Cost Managers at various levels in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Responsibilities
Work across Retail, Health, Education, Defence, Infrastructure and Natural Resources.
Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
Responsible for pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account and related activities.
Complete feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
Estimate and plan costs, producing and presenting the final cost plan.
Tender and procure, managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, compiling preliminaries, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling contractual documents.
Take personal responsibility for cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation.
Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client.
Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Qualifications
A recognised degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
MRICS / AIQS accreditation.
Relevant work experience ideally in a consultancy environment.
Proficient in the use of CostX advanced.
Attention to detail and team player with the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
Highly motivated and driven with passion for delivering to clients and the ability to work independently.
