* Drive the execution and continuous improvement of a strong financial governance framework, ensuring full compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of all financial reports, management accounts, and statutory filings.
* Oversee end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insights that support strategic, data-driven decision-making.
* Continuously improve financial systems, reporting structures, and processes to boost accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as the business grows.
* Deliver clear financial analysis and actionable recommendations that drive profitability and elevate business performance.
* Manage financial risk, tax compliance, and regulatory obligations, ensuring the organisation remains resilient and protected.
* Oversee the accurate and timely management of rental and lease payment obligations.
Qualifications & Skills
We are seeking strategic thinker and collaborative relationship builder who can use their business acumen to help influence business decisions. You will require a broad grounding in finance and accounting, complimented with advanced stakeholder management and business partnering skills to support business strategy development and execution. Proven management experience is essential, together with attention to detail and accuracy, great communication and relationship-building skills. We are looking for someone who will passionately lead and manage the finance team and develop improvements in client services and processes. It's important that you are hands on, dynamic and willing to get to know the whole business.
To be considered for this role, you must also have the following skills and experience:
* CA qualification, experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm
* 6 to 8 years of finance management experience, preferably in retail/property/construction
* Experience driving transformation in Finance (including automation and efficiencies) while maintaining a customer focus, and improvement in the control environment.
* Experience in complex accounting environments.
* Experience working in a company with a high volume of transactions preferred
