About the Project Engineer Role
* Coordinate on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project objectives.
* Administer construction engineering activities to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
* Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
* Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, building construction, or equivalent is required.
A Diploma of Project Management in engineering science, building, construction, or equivalent is also necessary.
Chartered Engineering Status is essential.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the utilities sector is required.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of utility infrastructure systems, regulations, and industry best practices are necessary.
Sub-contractor management skills including scope of works creation and tendering are essential.
