**About Dynamic Grid Management**
We are seeking a Senior or Staff-level Data Scientist to develop core network modelling capabilities that power our grid analytics platform.
* Design and implement generalised powerflow models that work reliably across diverse network topologies, voltage levels, and data quality scenarios.
* Develop and evaluate advanced modelling techniques - linearised approximations, physics-informed neural networks, graph neural networks, hybrid approaches, and optimal powerflow.
* Collaborate with experienced power engineers to ensure models are grounded in grid physics and operational reality.
* Work with talented software engineers to productionise models and integrate them into the platform.
* Contribute to technical strategy and help establish best practices for model development, validation, and maintenance.
This is a hands-on technical role where you will design and implement models, validate them against messy real-world data, and work closely with power systems engineers and software engineers to get them into production.
About Electricity grids: They are undergoing significant transformation. Utilities operate their grids in new ways due to renewables, rooftop solar, batteries, EVs, and complex distribution networks. We build data engines for dynamic grid management.
