We are seeking an experienced Pastry Demi Chef to join our culinary team.
About the Job:
This role is responsible for producing high-quality desserts and baked goods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
 * Key responsibilities include producing high-quality desserts and baked goods for the buffet, a la carte, banquets, high teas, and special events.
 * Work closely with the pastry chef to develop new menu items and specials.
 * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
 * Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
 * Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
 * Prior experience in a large, fast-paced kitchen environment.
 * Knowledge and experience in pastry desserts, buffets, and chocolate work is essential.
 * A passion for producing high-quality desserts that delight our guests.
 * Ability to remain calm under pressure and balance multiple tasks.
 * Must also be available to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
 * A high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
