About the role
Remo's Quality Meats is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team in Coogee, WA. As a full-time Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and high-quality meat products to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
* Cutting, trimming, and preparing a wide variety of meat products, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry
* Assisting customers with product selection and providing knowledgeable advice on preparation and cooking methods
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
* Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards
* Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Butcher in a retail or commercial setting
* Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and their culinary applications
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide personalized recommendations
* Proficient in the use of butchery tools and equipment
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
