About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Aviation Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a member of our airside team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of catering services to our airline partners.
Your primary responsibility will be to operate our hi-lift trucks and load/unload catering items from aircraft. You will also be responsible for conducting basic vehicle checks, re-fueling, and guiding the vehicle for safe approach.
In addition to these tasks, you will work closely with the airline cabin crew to ensure accurate loading and unloading of catering items. You will also be responsible for administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a clean current MR or HR driver's license, ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks, flexibility working around flight schedules, good verbal and written communication skills, and neat and tidy presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens
* Guide and position the trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies
* Communicate and coordinate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over
* Conduct basic vehicle checks and re-fuel vehicles
* Perform administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required
