Brooker Consulting is partnering with Gippsland Primary Health Network (PHN) to appoint a Chief Operating Officer.
Gippsland PHN plays a critical role in strengthening the primary healthcare system across the region, working with clinicians, community organisations and government partners to improve health outcomes for more than 300,000 people across Gippsland.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced executive to contribute to system-level health outcomes while helping lead a high-performing regional organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer provides enterprise leadership to ensure that Gippsland PHN operates as a cohesive, high-performing organisation.
The role provides leadership across two key areas:
Corporate ServicesFinance, ICT, HR, governance and organisational operations.
Operations & Mental HealthCommissioning, program delivery and sector partnerships.
Working closely with the CEO and Board, the COO will support delivery of the organisation’s strategic priorities while ensuring strong governance, operational performance and organisational capability.
About YouYou are an experienced senior leader with strong operational and strategic capability.
You will bring:
• Executive leadership experience (GM, Executive Director or COO level)• Strong governance and financial oversight capability• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams• The ability to operate in complex stakeholder environments
Experience in the health, government, or community sectors may be advantageous but is not essential.
