How will you make a difference?
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works as per design and specifications. The Electrical Supervisor works closely with engineers and other project staff to establish design criteria ensuring project goals are met.
Responsibilities
* Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to
* Supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works as per design and specifications
* Support in the development, implementation and monitoring of progress of construction plans in respect of time, cost and quality
* Monitor construction work for compliance with engineering design specifications, client standards and statutory regulations
* Develop individual and team competence
* Conduct Toolbox and Safe Talks
* Installation and maintenance of railway signalling equipment including, but not limited to, signals, train stops, point machines, track circuits, level crossings and other wayside items
Qualifications
* Electrical / Electrical Mechanic license
* Certificate IV in Rail Signaling
* Substantial experience working as a supervisor in the railway industry
* Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite
* Construction White / Blue Card
* Rail Industry workers card
* Clean Driver's License
* Practical and organisational skills
