Job Title: Executive Director Quality and Safety
This is a senior leadership role that oversees statewide frameworks for quality improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The Executive Director, Quality and Safety leads strategic initiatives to enhance clinical governance, patient safety, and service quality across Tasmania's public health system.
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Clinical Quality, Regulation and Accreditation, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring Tasmanians receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.
* Driving continuous improvement in healthcare safety and outcomes
* Leading accreditation, audit, and clinical governance programs
* Collaborating with executive leaders, clinicians, and stakeholders
* Promoting a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Clinical registration and/or health service management experience
* Extensive experience managing and leading a complex team
* Extensive experience and / or certification in Quality Improvement and/ or Accreditation
* Professional qualifications and experience relevant to industry quality and safety standards
* Current Driver's Licence
