We're looking for a Steward part-time or casual who takes pride in their work. Our stewards play a vital role in supporting our chefs by maintaining clean, organised kitchens and upholding exceptional standards. Responsibilities
* Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
* Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
* Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
* Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
* Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes
* Role available as Part time or Casual dependent on availability and candidate
Qualifications
* Availability to work across different days and times: Morning shifts as early as 6:00am and or late shifts finishing at 1:00am
* Passion for delivering great service
* Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Attendant or Prep Chef is helpful but not necessary
* Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines is helpful but not necessary
* Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team
