We're growing quickly and need a BDM who actually understands operations, not just someone who sends emails and hopes for the best.
What You'll Be Doing
* Obtaining new business across logistics, warehousing, construction, and events
* Targeting 3PLs, freight forwarders, warehouses, and transport companies
* Build on current and new relationships with ops managers, warehouse managers, and site supervisors
* Manage clients and end-to-end contracts— from first contact
* Identify opportunities across multiple industries
What You Need (Important)
* Experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, and construction
* Background in sales / BDM / account management
* Understanding of warehouse operations
* Proactive with an initiative attitude
* Container unpacking / devanning experience and knowledge
* Existing contacts in logistics and construction
* Labour hire and recruitment background
