Employment Law Specialist
This role involves advising on employment law matters, building relationships with stakeholders and clients, and drafting employment documents. We seek a senior associate level lawyer to join our team.
* Advise on employment law issues including recruitment, performance management, misconduct, disciplinary action, termination, and workplace investigations.
* Draft and review employment contracts, policies, procedures and guidelines.
* Advise on enterprise agreements, industrial instruments and bargaining processes.
* Advise on APS-specific employment frameworks (Public Service Act 1999) and WHS compliance under the Work Health and Safety Act.
The successful candidate will work from Canberra or Sydney but other locations in Australia may be considered. A hybrid working arrangement is available. Only Australian citizens are eligible for this role. An existing AGSVA security clearance is not required but will be highly regarded.
