This is a permanent part-time role working 3 days a week. We can be flexible on location for the right candidate who wants to make a significant contribution to our organisation and community.
The successful candidate will provide administrative, coordination and project support to the Legal and Governance team, ensuring effective corporate governance across the group.
Key tasks include:
* Providing support to the Board and sub-committees through scheduling, agenda preparation, collation of papers and back-up support for minute taking;
* Maintenance of various governance registers;
* Supporting the development of governance and compliance reports, policies and procedures;
* Assisting with annual governance processes;
* Document control;
* Supporting the tracking and reporting of compliance obligations, accreditations and renewals;
* Data collection for governance KPI reporting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Demonstrated experience providing administrative support in a governance, legal or corporate environment;
* Strong organisational and coordination skills, with attention to detail and accuracy;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems;
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines;
* High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Governance, Legal or related discipline, and/or experience supporting Boards or Committees in the not-for-profit, housing or government sector, are highly desirable.
Applicants must also have the ability to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
