Distribution, Australian Steel Products is seeking an experienced Slitter Operator to join our team in Eagle Farm. The Division includes quality brands such as Orrcon Distribution, BlueScope Distribution, Metalcorp, and Impact Steel.
This hands‑on role involves operating slitting and processing machinery, using forklifts and overhead cranes, preparing customer orders, and ensuring product quality meets required standards. You will troubleshoot and optimise slitting processes to improve production efficiency while working in a well‑organised facility.

Day Shift – 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday – enjoy your afternoons free for family, friends, or hobbies.

What you will do
* Set up, adjust and troubleshoot slitter settings.
* Operate gantry cranes and forklifts to move coils and load/unload trucks.
* Complete quality checks, measurements and documentation.
* Perform general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
* Work collaboratively as part of a friendly, safety‑driven team.
About you
* Experienced operator of steel slitting lines and processing machinery.
* Skilled at setting up, adjusting and troubleshooting slitter settings.
* Proficient in operating gantry cranes and forklifts.
* Accurate in carrying out quality checks, measurements and documentation.
* Detail‑oriented while picking and preparing orders.
* Committed to general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
