About the role

We are looking for a HR Administrator based at our depot in West Footscray, Vic due to growth in our operations.

If you are looking for the next step in your HR career and to be exposed to all areas of HR, then this role is for you


Responsibilities

* Ensure good corporate governance and compliance with all policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
* Support the recruitment functions including end-to-end recruitment, onboarding & exiting process.
* Support the administration of Workcover claims.
* Support the administration of the Social Inclusion and diversity implementation for Miepol and any reporting required for clients.
* Assist with organisational charts and updates of existing roles, define line managers etc.
* Administer the company training strategy and its implementation including Apprentices & Trainees.
* Administer the Employee Benefits programs including EAP, Wellness, and Performance.
* Coordinate Miepol company events, Christmas functions, acknowledgement of employee milestones.
* Support the HR and Employee communication regarding any legislative changes.
* Assist with the administration of employment law and best practice, EBA's and other Industrial relations items.
* Assist with the administration for the Conduct/Review company surveys/Feedback analysis and reporting.
* Website management of careers section, employment enquiries, social media communications.


About You

* Must be able to be 5 days/week onsite at Footscray or Sunshine Offices.
* Must be willing to learn all aspects of HR.
* An appropriate HR qualifications and/or experience (Preferred), or Business Administration, or similar.
* Must have a basic understanding of HR items.
* HR Graduates, Cadets/Interns are strongly encouraged to apply.
