About the Role
Our client, a leading Australian family business, has been supplying to various industries for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team in Altona North.
This role reports directly to the Directors and involves overseeing warehouse operations, including training and directing personnel, managing labour requirements, promoting safe work practices, and coordinating equipment servicing and maintenance.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a high-performing warehouse team
* Developing and implementing efficient warehouse procedures
* Maintaining accurate inventory levels and records
* Ensuring compliance with OH&S policies and regulations
* Coordinating container unloads, check offs, and put aways
* Performing other general warehousing duties as required

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A proven track record in a similar management position
* Excellent knowledge of general warehousing procedures and best practices
* Experience with warehousing software such as WMS and IFS
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proven critical thinker with attention to detail
* A self-motivated attitude with a can-do approach
