What You'll Do
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the end-to-end revenue function. Your responsibilities include:
* Driving transaction processing functions, ensuring all transactional processing is completed accurately and on time.
* Ensuring customer admission and departure processes are completed in a timely manner and according to legislative requirements.
* Supporting internal and external audit functions as required.
* Reconciling customer fee accounts and preparing refunds for payment.
* Processing customer receipts daily in accordance with procedures.
* Preparing and processing billing files to meet monthly deadlines.
* Resolving customer queries received via phone or email promptly and accurately.
* Participating in business planning, policy, and procedure formulation within your area of responsibility.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate has experience in similar roles within large multi-site organisations, managing high volumes of financial data, and handling end-of-month financial processes efficiently. Strong stakeholder management and proficiency with financial systems are essential. A qualification in Business Administration is desirable but not mandatory.
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable).
* Experience in a similar role within a large multi-site organisation.
* Experience managing large volumes of financial data and end-of-month processes.
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency with computerised financial accounting systems and advanced spreadsheet skills.
