If you want to use spatial science to move the needle on Net Zero, this is the role you've been looking for. You won't just be "making maps"-you'll be building the data frameworks that quantify carbon sequestration across thousands of hectares of Australian bushland.
Here, you'll be on the front line in Australia's fight against climate change. Your work is the scientific "ground truth" for projects that pull carbon from the atmosphere, restore biodiversity corridors, and protect endangered ecosystems.
This isn't just about project delivery. You'll be a strategic partner: working with stakeholders to define spatial solutions, collaborating with R&D on remote sensing innovation, and ensuring our environmental impact is measurable and verifiable.
Key Skills/Experience:
You'll need to be able to demonstrate a strong background in delivering GIS solutions for carbon sequestration projects. This includes a working knowledge of:
* ACCU's
* Remtoe Sensing methods like LiDAR
* Esri tooling like ArcGIS
