Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Township Operations Manager to oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of Council assets in township areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams and coordinating field operations, with excellent communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time permanent position that involves supervising contractors and crew, engaging with the community, traders, and visitors, and contributing to continuous improvement across townships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Prioritise customer satisfaction by resolving complaints, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring high service standards aligned with Council policies.
* Build strategic partnerships across Council teams and support Recreation, Parks and Facilities projects.
* Implement and monitor new systems, encourage change, maintain safety standards, and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
* Apply industry knowledge, inspect infrastructure assets, and operate maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
* The ability to perform hands-on maintenance to promptly resolve issues and restore asset condition.
* Great organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with diverse customers.
* OHS White Card or equivalent.
* Traffic Management Certification.
