We arecurrently seeking applications from experienced Drill orDiesel Fitters for a Full-Time 7/7 DIDOpositions at our northern Bowen Basinprojects located between in the Moranbah, Coppabella andNebo regions about 1.5 hours west of Mackay.
Experience working on drill rigs ishighly desired, however, experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters who maynot have worked on drill rigs before are encouraged toapply.
Thesalary/wage range for this role is $65.00 to $72.50 per hour withTrade-certified Fitters who are new to mining or drill rigs towardsthe lower end of that range and experienced Drill Fitters andLeading Hands towards the higher end.
Reporting to theProject Manager and Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsiblefor, but not limited to, the following:
* Perform scheduleddrill servicing across our REICHDrill rigs
* Prioritising workloadsor unscheduled repairs when required
* Supervising and/orcoaching the activities of Trainee Fitters
* Maintaining andservicing light vehicles, support trucks andtrailers
* Fulfilling all safetyrequirements and maintenance reporting needs.
ESSENTIAL Skillsand requirements include:
* TradeCertificate (Mechanical)
* HandTools
* DriverLicence
* Highlevel of diagnostic skills and field service fault finding ishighly regarded
* Ability to workautonomously and part of a team
* Physical fitness andability to perform manual labour
* Ability to workautonomously with minimal supervision
* Ability to work aspart of a small team
* Excellentcommunication skills and safety awareness
