The Role
As a valued member of our team, we envision the successful applicant as a conscientious, flexible, and innovative educator deeply committed to the holistic development of every student. Actively engaging in both the school and wider community, you should reflect thoughtfully on your teaching practices and demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based decision-making and differentiation.
Motivated and passionate about teaching Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
Deliver a curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of all students, fostering an environment where every student can reach their full potential.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; contribute to shaping and promoting the school\'s values and priorities.
Experience teaching ATAR or General HASS courses is highly regarded but not essential.
Eligibility and Requirements
Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
