About The Role
As a Senior Consultant (Certification Engineer) within Egis Rail business you will be responsible for providing project specific services that exceed client and/or project requirements.
You will also be responsible for certifying design testing and acceptance activities of rolling stock.
You will:
* Act as the rolling stock Independent Certifier certifying design test and acceptance
* Provide technical matter expertise for DMU and EMU vehicles
* Supervise T&C product introduction and other deliverables as required by future projects
* Assist in project control execution and management of tasks/projects
* Carry out analytical & implementation tasks
* Liaise and assist with project reviews and the project team and communicate effectively with client staff
* Complete all project administrative tasks as required inclusive of managing project reporting and financials
Requirements
Ideally you will have at least 10 years experience in a similar or related role with demonstrated expert knowledge of rolling stock within a consultancy environment.
You will also have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or a related Engineering discipline
* CPEng or equivalent registration highly desired
* RPEV/RPEQ highly desired but not mandatory
* Demonstrated strong understanding of rollingstock standards and vehicle specifications
* Proven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients stakeholders and internal teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Exceptional written and planning skills
* Confident to work autonomously with limited guidance
* Analytical and technical mindset
