As the Team Leader for Building Regulations, you will lead specialist teams responsible for the delivery of building regulation services. Your leadership will be pivotal in coordinating efforts in fire and building safety, certification, development assessment, and swimming pool safety, all while ensuring compliance with stringent regulations.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a confident and resilient leader with the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks and drive performance. If you possess strong interpersonal skills, a customer‑centric mindset, and a deep understanding of building compliance and regulations, we want to hear from you!
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Planning, Building Surveying, Town Planning, or a related field.
- Experience in Development Assessment and Building Certification, with a track record of leading high‑performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Local Government Act, and Building Code of Australia.
- Proficiency in managing investigations and compliance, with a focus on effective stakeholder engagement.

- Package: From $117,242 – $133,307 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation. In addition, an award vehicle allowance of $10,780 gross p.a. will be paid.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time, 35 hours per week, with the option of a 19‑day month through Council’s flex system.
