Location: Mount Isa Hospital, Mount Isa 
Remuneration: $504,709 up to $671,316 per annum (Paid pro-rata for engagement period / part time employee) 
Temporary full time (6 months with possibility of extension)

- Base salary ranges between $210,332 and $266,677 p.a. (L18-L27) 
- Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual. 
- 5 weeks annual recreational leave accumulation with 17.5% loading when taken. 
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%. 
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance of 40-50% base annual salary 
- Regional and Rural attraction allowance of 15% base annual salary

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated clinician to join our motivated team delivering high-quality Obstetrics and Gynaecology services to the North West community. In this role, you will provide evidence-based, patient-centred care, including patient review, clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and health promotion. Working within a supportive team, you will help deliver protected, effective, and compassionate care to women and their families while developing your skills and making a meaningful impact on community health outcomes. 
Requirements 
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. 
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. 
- Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Obstetrics & Gynaecology): Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). 
- Senior Medical Officer (SMO) / Rural Generalist (RG) – Obstetrics: Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Rural Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP + FARGP) with Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (Advanced DRANZCOG). 
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence. 
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks. 
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
