We're currently seeking experienced outdoor workers to join our Parks & Recreation team, helping keep Maitland's parks, sports fields, gardens, playgrounds, and public spaces looking their best. What You'll Be Doing No two days are exactly the same, but your duties may include: Mowing, whipper snipping, edging, and general grounds maintenance Landscaping and garden maintenance Maintaining parks, reserves, sports fields, and public open spaces Litter collection and presentation of community areas Operating small plant and equipment Watering trees and carrying out basic horticultural tasks Assisting with playground and recreational facility upkeep Working safely and following all WHS procedures What We're Looking For We're keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience in: Landscaping Groundskeeping Parks and gardens maintenance Horticulture Civil maintenance or outdoor labouring roles Essential Requirements Current NSW Driver Licence White Card Recent RMS Driving History Recent Police Check Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically fit and capable of manual labour Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Strong teamwork and communication skills Highly Regarded Chainsaw, brush cutter, or chemical handling tickets MR Licence First Aid Certificate Horticultural qualifications or experience What's In It For You?
