Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join our team at one of Australia's most efficient power generation sites.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, assessing priorities and meeting agreed targets.
1. Resolve defects while maintaining station performance and meeting operational targets by returning plant to normal operating service.
2. Prepare work method statements, risk assessments, and plant operating instructions ensuring the required level of maintenance to asset is achieved and records maintained.
3. Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities in accordance with agreed procedures and operational requirements to ensure plant is operating safely, effectively, and efficiently.
4. Participate in major and minor plant and equipment outages.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of power generation site equipment.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and repair or replace faulty equipment.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with other teams to achieve optimal results.
Requirements
* Relevant Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, assessing priorities and meeting agreed targets.
* Previous knowledge and experience of plant, equipment, materials, and maintenance methods used in Power Stations or similar heavy industry.
* Dedication to working safely and efficiently within the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment legislation, codes of practice, standards, policies, operating procedures, PTW System, and work instructions.
