Mater Private Hospital Townsville is currently seeking a dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our team.
This casual position offers flexibility in working Monday to Friday, with standard hours from 8AM to 4PM. There is also potential to increase hours based on operational needs, including weekend shifts.
* Provide excellent customer service to all incoming patients accessing allied health services.
* Assist in delivering therapy services and running group sessions devised by therapists.
* Monitor and maintain clinical equipment, therapy materials, educational resources, and assist with equipment purchasing.
* Maintain designated clinical areas, facilities, and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
About the Role
To be successful in your application, you will have:
* Advanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clients, carers, and service providers and respond to competing demands.
* Flexibility – able to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day and maintain composure and an excellent standard of customer service at all times.
* Demonstrated experience working in a patient environment (with inpatients, day patients, or outpatients).
* Ability to actively participate in a team.
* High level of computer skills.
* Highly competent organisation and time management skills.
